Taylor Swift’s tour for her new album “Reputation” could potentially make upwards of half a billion dollars.

Billboard reported the following:

Taylor Swift is on track to chart one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, with projections that she could sell $450 million worth of tickets on her Reputation stadium tour which kicks off this summer.

Sources now tell Billboard each show on the tour is forecast to sell between $7.5 million and $10 million worth of tickets. Couple that with six shows in Europe and five shows in Australia and New Zealand, and Swift is looking at earning anywhere between $390 million and $510 million for the Reputation Tour, putting her on track to have one of the top-grossing tours of all time based on Billboard Boxscores.

This is what we like to call in the business “crushing life.” This is why we love Taylor Swift. She’s out here dropping awesome records one day, and blowing away tickets sales the next. That’s a hero if I’ve ever heard of one.

I guess this also kind of blows a huge gaping hole in the narrative about how nobody likes this album. I loved “Reputation,” and I’m not even factoring in the rumors I inspired several songs into the equation. It’s just a solid album and a rollercoaster ride.

Now excuse me while I go buy some Taylor Swift tickets and search for the future Mrs. Hookstead at the concert.
