The first trailer for the upcoming movie “Slender Man” was released Wednesday, and it’s horrifying.
The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “Slender Man tells the story of a tall, thin horrifying figure with unnaturally long arms and a featureless face, who is reputed to be responsible for the haunting and disappearance of countless children and teens.”
I really wouldn’t recommend watching this movie before trying to get some sleep. I don’t think that’d be a great combination at all.
This movie hits home for me because Wisconsin made national headlines when two teenage girls brutally stabbed their friend in an attempt to impress the fictional monster.
It was all that anybody talked about at the time of the attack.
This movie looks like it’s going to do a great job of capturing the horror behind the Slender Man craze the took over the internet a few years ago.
It is currently scheduled to be released May 18.
