A new trailer was released Wednesday for Bruce Willis’ upcoming movie “Death Wish.”
The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “A mild-mannered father is transformed into a killing machine after his family is torn apart by a violent act.”
The new trailer is pretty much exactly what you’d expect it to be. Willis rides around slaughtering the bad guys, and it really doesn’t seem like much of a fair fight.
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. Americans love the idea of vigilante justice. It’s just bred in our DNA. It’s part of the reason why we romanticize the Old West so much. We love the idea of two cowboys drawing down on each other in the name of justice or an old rugged lawman who plays by his own rules hunting down the bad guys.
Well, we’re going to get to see Willis doing plenty of that when the movie is released March 2.
