‘Game of Thrones’ Fans Will Be Amped After The Latest Update

David Hookstead | Reporter

Episodes for the final season of “Game of Thrones” might be up to 90 minutes long.

Kit Harington, who plays fan favorite Jon Snow, said the following in an interview with The Sun:

We know we have six episodes – we are not sure whether they will run for 70 minutes or even 90 minutes…There is so much work still to do. We haven’t put together a full episode yet as there is more filming. The length will be a network decision. But we are busy.

Let’s go! It’s time to get excited. We might be getting 90 minute episodes for each of the last six episodes? Sounds absolutely incredible.

Getting essentially six movies for a final season is the smartest and most exciting thing I’ve heard ever come out of “Game of Thrones” land.

I already sit down every Sunday night, turn of the lights, grab a Miller Lite, pop some popcorn and settle in for the new episodes. Now I’m apparently going to get a bunch of extra content. This is turning out to be an incredible day.
