The Detroit Lions released a montage video Tuesday morning of quarterback Matthew Stafford’s best moments this season, and it’s incredible.
Everybody knows I’m a huge Lions fan. I can’t get enough of Stafford and the rocket that is attached to the right side of his body. There is nobody in the league that has more pure arm strength that Stafford. When he cocks that arm back, there’s a solid chance that ball is about to fly 80 yards down field.
The Lions as a team didn’t exactly blow us away this year, but Stafford slung the rock like it was going out of style.

My new favorite Stafford quote is, “Let’s hit them in the f**king mouth from the jump!”
You can’t watch that highlight reel and then try to convince me that Stafford isn’t elite. It’s not his fault the Lions running back is only one step up from myself. The guy is a gamer on a level that we haven’t seen since the days of Brett Favre, and he’s got the highlight tapes to prove it.
Hopefully, Stafford is able to get the Lions deep into the postseason next year. Even if he doesn’t, I’m still going to enjoy watching him sling it all over the place like it’s a video game.
