Today, former NFL quarterback turned activist Colin Kaepernick is expected to honor his pledge in donating a total of $1 million to “social injustice” causes.

The Colin Kaepernick Foundation has collected and donated over $900,000 to organizations since October 2016. And according to its website, today is the day the remaining $100,000 will be given to complete the “Million Dollar Pledge”.

In an Instagram post, the former San Francisco 49er announced that NBA star Kevin Durant made a donation Wednesday, to help a Bay Area group that focuses on “advancing the rights of youth, workers, immigrants and those impacted by police and the criminal justice system.”

Kaepernick has decided to ride the victimhood train as far as it will take him. There’s no doubt that his main goal is to spread the anti-police rhetoric that black men are killed by officers at a disproportionate rate. Unfortunately for Kaepernick, that premise is simply not true.

For someone who is supposedly fighting social oppression, Kaepernick proudly wore a T-shirt idolizing oppressive Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. As for his pushback against “white privilege,” Colin Kaepernick was adopted by middle class white parents.

Let’s not let facts get in the way of his campaign for capitalizing on false-victimization.
