FAU football coach Lane Kiffin hired Charlie Weis Jr. as the youngest offensive coordinator in the FBS, according to multiple reports.

I love how Kiffin keeps making splashes. First he turns around FAU in only one season, and now he hires the youngest coach in America in FBS.

That’s how you move the needle. Imagine how cool it’ll be if a 24-year-old man leads FAU’s offense to tons of success. He could be in line for a job at a major school within a couple years.

This also gives hope to millions of young men around the country who love playing college football video games. I’m more than confident I can run the spread offense reasonably well, given the fact I probably won 100 national titles on “NCAA Football ’14.” Seems pretty much the same.

I hope like hell this kid is a success. It’s going to set a trend of hiring young coaches that I’m more than willing to get behind.
