Presidential doctor Navy rear Admiral Ronny Jackson made headlines after he held a press conference about President Trump’s first annual medical exam yesterday.
President Trump’s health was discussed in near excruciating detail, but one of the stats the media seemed to care about the most was Trump’s stature. According to his doctor, Trump stands 6’3″ and weighs 239 pounds.
And while plenty of people began to speculate that he was borderline obese, Twitter pointed out that there are a lot of professional athletes with similar builds. Alex Ovechkin, for example, is 6’3″ and 235 lbs.

And there are plenty of other athletes with similar builds. Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels is 6’3″ and 235 lbs. Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor is 6’3″ and 232. Milan Lucic of the Edmonton Oilers is 6’3″ and 236. The Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is 6’3″ and 240.
It looks like Trump is in some pretty good company.
