A couple of days ago, a guy with too much free time edited all the women out of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” to make a statement about the overtly feminist and progressive messaging of the film. The cut came to about 45 minutes but made a huge splash on social media and sent feminists reeling.

One of those unhinged feminists was Twitter user Logan James, who also tweets under the oft-triggered handle @YesYoureRacist.

He cut all the men from the five-time Oscar-winning film “Saving Private Ryan” in an attempt to make a statement for feminism.

“In response to the MRA douche who edited all the women out of #TheLastJedi, I decided to edit all of the men out of Saving Private Ryan. Here it is in its entirety,” he tweeted.

The cut lasts two minutes and mostly features landscape shots and a few women with no lines whatsoever.

I’m not sure what this guy is trying to achieve here. Has 21st century feminism gotten so radically toxic that it demands the eradication of an entire gender? Are war heroes considered such a threat to feminism that they too need to be erased?

It would be one thing if this guy cut all the men from a movie like “The Wolf Of Wall Street” to make a point. But directing all of your feminist anger into “Saving Private Ryan” goes way too far. Attack guys like Jordan Belfort’s character — who punches his wife in the abdomen — all you want, but do not attack the movie about a platoon’s efforts to recover one of their men in brutal wartime. That’s reprehensible.

Besides, Logan James cutting men out of movies in the name of feminism is hilarious. If he really wanted to commit to this role, he’d have to shut up and erase himself from the conversation entirely. New wave feminism, by definition, requires all men to sit tight and keep their mouths shut.

Go crawl back into your cave and leave the heroics to the military, buddy.
