Bradley Cooper apparently wrote an op-ed for the Philadelphia Daily News about having sex with your friends, and it’s the definition of a must read story.

Philly Inquirer writer Tommy Rowan tweeted out a picture of the article from Cooper, who was an 18-year old intern when he wrote it.

It’s titled “When best friends cross the line,” and it’s incredible.

The first line of the article is, “Can best friends who are of the opposite sex hook up with each other without destroying their friendship? In my case, yes . . . so far (emphasis added).”

You can read the whole thing in the tweet before.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Cooper ever since his days on “Alias,” and I’m even a bigger fan now. This op-ed is awesome. The fact he added, “…so far” is incredible. It’s almost like he knew that he was playing a game on borrowed time.

Also, you have to love the fact Cooper felt the need to let the whole world know he’s sexually active. Props to him.

Now, allow me to give you all a little wisdom here. Do not, I repeat, do not take Cooper’s advice lightly. You are playing with fire. I’d rather try to sneak into a North Korean nuclear site than deal with some of the stuff I’ve been through again. Literally, I’d buy ticket to Pyongyang before hooking up with a close friend again.

Perhaps stuff worked out differently for me because I wasn’t destined to be a movie star. I have no idea. I was only averaging less than two points per game on a 29-0 state championship team. I guess it’s not exactly the same.

Just exercise EXTREME caution if you’re going down that path.

Finally, we need to go find Cooper and get him on the record about whatever happened with him and this woman. I need that answer like I need to breathe.
