A full trailer for “Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home” was recently released, and it’s getting difficult to tell whether or not this is a gigantic prank.

The new trailer features Danny McBride and every Australian actor or actress you can think of, including the Hemsworth brothers, Margot Robbie, Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe.*

I hope this is real, but I still have a big feeling that we’re all being screwed with. There have been multiple reports that the whole thing is an elaborate stunt for a Super Bowl commercial. I have no idea what the truth is, but I’m certainly leaning toward this not being real.

There are a couple reasons I’m leaning toward this conclusion. First, this “movie” fell out of thin air. Nobody had heard anything about, no filming was known about and then it all just appeared online. That’s not how Hollywood works. There would have been leaks somewhere down the line. Chris Hemsworth has shot multiple movies over the past year, so I’m failing to see where he had time to shoot another without anybody noticing.

The plot just also seems so absurd that I’m not buying it. I’m about 90 percent sure this is all a stunt. A funny one for sure, but still a stunt. I guess we’ll know for sure this Sunday.

CORRECTION: Russell Crowe is not Australian. He is from New Zealand but lives in Australia. I’ve been told that New Zealand people do not like being confused with people from Australia. Hand up. That’s my bad. I should have known better. My sincerest apologies to all the Kiwis out there. I love you all and meant nothing by it. You have a beautiful country that I got to see in the three “Lord of the Rings” films. Props to you guys.
