Wisconsin forward Khalil Iverson might have had the best dunk we’ll see all year Monday night against Nebraska.
The junior caught the ball on the wing, cut baseline and elevated for one of the nastiest dunks you’re ever going to see.
Take that, rewind it back. @iverson_khalil with a MONSTROUS REVERSE DUNK! pic.twitter.com/x8LFgDbwqg

That was absolutely insane. There aren’t many players in the NBA with the athleticism to pull off that kind of a dunk. Factor in that Iverson is only 6’5″, and I think it’s safe to say we just witnessed the dunk of the year. At the very least it’s a leading candidate.
Unfortunately, that’s about where the good news ended for my Badgers. Nebraska went on a massive run after that jam, retook the lead and won by double digits.
Don’t cry any tears or spare any sympathy for me. I came to terms weeks ago that this Badgers team is really bad. Not just a little bit. They’re awful. It’s painful to watch, and even Iverson’s dunks won’t be enough to safe them. I never would have believed anybody who said that Wisconsin would falter this badly in the course of a single season. There have been injuries, we’re young but that doesn’t make losing any easier. We expect nothing but the best, and right now we’re not getting it.
Hopefully the tide turns, but I’m not holding my breath. Oh well, at least Iverson is putting on a highlight reel all by himself.
