It’s obvious that Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn’t happy with how the team has handled the offseason so far.

Joining ESPN Radio’s “Golic and Wingo” in Minneapolis, the host site for Super Bowl LII, Rodgers was asked for his thoughts on some of the team’s recent coaching changes — mostly notably, the departure of his position coach, Alex Van Pelt.

“Well, my quarterback coach didn’t get retained.” Rodgers said depressingly. “You know, I thought that was an interesting change, really without consulting me. There’s a close connection between quarterback and quarterback coach, and, um, that was an interesting decision.”

This has been a year to forget for the future Hall-of-Famer.

The 2017 campaign for Aaron Rodgers was limited to just 7 games after he suffered a broken collar bone in October. He did return in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers. The Packers eventually lost the game, ending their playoff chances.  So, the team decided to shut him down for the final 2 meaningless games.

It is worth noting that Aaron Rodgers will become an unrestricted free agent following the 2019 season. That’s plenty of time for the Packers and Rodgers to settle their differences. But, if Rodgers feels the Packers aren’t headed in the right direction, he could opt for free agency.
