Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement had a tweet from May of 2012 that seems kind of eerie in light of his huge game in the Super Bowl.

Clement caught for 100 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots, and was a huge part of the victory.

His tweet from 2012, which has gone viral today, shows him in front of an Eagles backdrop with the caption, “One day … Some day.”

That tweet was sent before Clement had even played a college game at Wisconsin. The hair on my arms rose a little bit when I saw that on my timeline. Just incredible. He’s a New Jersey guy, clearly dreamed about playing for the Eagles and then played a major role in them winning their first Super Bowl.

Talk about living the dream. I was at Wisconsin at the same time Clement was. We didn’t ever cross paths, but everybody I knew only had good things to say to him. His career for the Badgers, especially his junior season, had it’s rough moments, but he can flat out play football. I’m glad he’s crushing it in the NFL. He’s certainly earned it.
