The exchange is shocking to watch as he picks the Gators over Alabama and Tennessee, which are both schools his mom was wearing gear from.

How does any mother do that to their son? The moment is not about them at all. The moment is about their child making his college decision. What a wild reaction to your son going to play for a great school in a great conference.
The decisions some parents make when it comes to sports is mind-boggling to me. Sports aren’t about the parents. They’re about the athletes. There is no excuse to get up from the table and walk away just because your son picked Florida.
I’m not even sure what I would say to my mother in this situation, but I can promise it wouldn’t be good. The whole thing is just shameful.
