Providence beat third-ranked Villanova Wednesday night, and engaged in a disgraceful storming of the court.

The Friars were 16-9 entering last night, which means this court storming should never be allowed to happen. You know when you can storm the court? When you upset the top ranked team in America and you’re outside of the top ten or you clinch your first conference title in several decades. Every other situation is unacceptable. Totally unacceptable.

I’m a big believer in a championship mentality. I live everyday of my life with a championship mentality. It’s the reason why I’m up hours before the sun, why I’m building an empire, why I chug beers for America, why I take my shot with the hottest women, why I refuse to give anything less than all the effort I got. Do champions sometimes lose? Absolutely, but a championship mentality is about always winning it’s. It’s about expecting to win.

Teams that expect to win don’t storm the court. Teams that expect to win shake hands after a game and head to the locker room and their fans should do the same. Can they pop a few extra tops at the bar after the game in celebration? Sure. I’m all for that, but stay off the damn court. You look like a bunch of morons who haven’t won anything in their lives.
