“It’s a good life,” said one of the Miami residents featured in Drake’s newest music video. Everyone else in the video would probably agree with that statement as the 31-year-old rapper gave away all of the supposed $996,631.90 music video budget for his Billboard No. 1 single, “God’s Plan”.

Following the budget valuation, the video’s caption reads: “We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label.”

In the video, Drake parades around Miami giving cash stacks to grateful families, signing massive checks for public services, giving toys to kids and contributing to other charities.

“Anything you guys want in the store is free,” said Drake to shoppers at a supermarket.

I always thought the song was just another trap-house beat, but it turns out Drake intended for “God’s Plan” to convey a more wholesome message. Unsurprisingly, just about everyone was blown away by Drake’s presence let alone his generosity.

And of course, Drake includes bits of his trademark dance moves in-between.

“God’s Plan” came out on Jan. 19, 2018 as a single on his two-song EP, “Scary Hours”.
