Kim Zolciak-Biermann, a controversial but popular star on “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” and “Don’t Be Tardy To The Party,” is causing yet more headlines today after gifting her daughter Brielle a handgun for her 21st birthday.
Zolciak-Biermann, 39, gave her daughter Brielle a brand new customized $1300 Glock 43. It comes complete with a rose gold slide, per her Snapchat last night.

Zolciak-Biermann apparently told her daughter Brielle that it’s important to learn how to handle a gun, especially for a girl living by herself. But not everybody’s thrilled with the notion. Gun control activists have long been against the Zolciak-Biermanns for their lax attitude about having guns around kids. Earlier this year, the family got into some hot water after their four year old boasted to his classroom that his dad lets him hold his “real gun” occasionally.
But this is a free country, and if a family wants to familiarize kids with guns early, that’s their prerogative. Besides, Zolciak-Biermann gave her daughter a handgun, not an AR-15.
