Russell Wilson is now handing out medical advice at spring training for the New York Yankees, and it’s another reminder that this whole stunt is ridiculous.

Yankees player Clint Frazier has been dealing with a head injury, and Wilson suggested he just drink tons of water like NFL players, according to MLB reporter Bryan Hoch.

Look, I don’t want people to think I’m against Russell Wilson as a person or athlete. I’m not. Him and I share a bond that most people wouldn’t ever understand. We’re both Badgers and that bond holds stronger than just about everybody else. I watched this man win a ton of games wearing red and white. That’s something I’ll never forget.

Having said all of that, I can’t stand by and pretend this dumb shtick is acceptable. So now he’s not just an NFL player and a baseball guy, but the Super Bowl winner is now also giving out medical advice. Give me a break.

The Seahawks just should have written into his contract that he couldn’t participate in any of this junk. It’s embarrassing for himself and the team.
