Tim McGraw blamed frequent air travel and dehydration for his onstage collapse over the weekend in Dublin, Ireland, according to the Blast.

“Lots of flying and dehydration,” the 50-year-old country singer told paparazzi when asked what happened.

McGraw, who received medical attention at the time, looked healthy enough to crack a joke.

“I gotta cut short my workouts,” he cracked after arriving back in the U.S. Monday night at JFK airport.

The country singer was in the middle of singing one of his hit songs “Humble and Kind” when he fell to his knees Sunday.

A short time later, his wife Faith Hill told the crowd at Dublin’s 3Arena that her husband was just “super dehydrated,” according to Page Six.

“I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out on stage,” Hill explained, according to a video posted on Instagram.

The couple kicks off their “Soul 2 Soul” tour in the U.S. in May.
