“Game of Thrones” star Iain Glen, who plays Jorah Mormont, recently discussed the final season, and it sounds like the ending will be wild.
Glen told the Indian Express the following:
When I read it, I thought it was rather brilliant. I am a bit of a fan of the series as well, and it satiated my expectation and hopes, I felt (it was the) conclusion… But we will just have to see. You know with something this big like Game of Thrones, you cannot please everyone…All I can say is that we will be doing what we have done before and the writers have written great episodes. They have had a great strike rate up to now and I am sure that will continue.
I don’t know about you guys, but this sure does make me excited. I have no idea what will happen in the final season, and there has been absolutely no leaks coming out of anywhere so far. I like that. The fewer the leaks the better.
Having said that, his statement of “you cannot please everyone” makes me think that something outrageous will happen down the stretch that will really piss people off. Maybe our guy Jon Snow will actually die for good, or maybe my girl Daenerys doesn’t make it out alive. If we lose our blonde sweetheart warrior queen, I will lose my mind. I will legit lose my mind.
The final season will premiere at some point in 2019.
