Loyola mega-fan Sister Jean has completely overtaken the entire world of college basketball, and it’s awesome to watch.
The Ramblers entered the tournament, and are now in the Sweet 16 after back-t0-back upsets. Sister Jean has been there the whole time becoming a star in her own right.

This is why we love March Madness so much. Sister Jean is 98-years old, and has become the face of Loyola basketball. As I’ve already said before, we’re living through a March Madness that absolutely nobody saw coming. It only makes sense that Sister Jean would be front and center.
Having Sister Jean on your side almost seems a bit unfair. Lots of teams have different good luck charms and mascots, but only one team has an elderly woman front and center captivating America. That’d be Loyola and they’re taking the tournament by storm.
I’m not cheering for Loyola, but I am enjoying the journey. I’m still hoping to salvage some cash from this disaster of a tournament. However, if it all fails, then I’d be okay with riding it out with Sister Jean. It only seems right.
