“Slow Motion” and “Bottoms Up” rapper Trey Songz turned himself into LAPD on Monday for alleged domestic violence.

Trey Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson, turned himself in with the help of his lawyer Shawn Holley for an incident that allegedly took place in February during the NBA All-Star weekend. As far as we know, the incident only involves one woman.

TMZ reports that Trey Songz was arrested for the felony around 6:00 AM on Monday morning in Los Angeles. The rapper posted a $50,000 bail bond, was booked, and was released around 8:00 AM.

Trey Songz is accused of hitting Andrea Buera during a Hollywood party. She claims he became angry at her for talking to another man and hit her when the argument escalated. She was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Right around the time Trey Songz turned himself in this morning, Trey Songz mandated that the accusations are stretched for “someone’s personal gain.”

Trey Songz also mentioned he won’t be commenting much on the case but made sure to thank his fans for their continued support.
