20th Century Fox released its second trailer for “Deadpool 2” this morning, and it did not disappoint.

As with the first trailer, it’s filled with dark humor, action, the f-word, and ironic plot twists.

The first trailer for “Deadpool 2” was released last month and already has more than 21 million views. The second official trailer, released on Thursday morning, has already gotten more than 100,000 views. It’s probably safe to say that people are excited.

“Deadpool 2” is the first sequel to the original “Deadpool,” released in 2016. It will pick up where the first movie left off, following Wade Wilson (played by Ryan Reynolds) — an antihero with superhuman strength but mutilating scarring all over his body. This time, Wilson’s alter ego Deadpool has a new nemesis named Cable (played by Josh Brolin). Deadpool forms a group of Marvel characters who are “tough, morally flexible, and young enough to carry their own franchise for 10-12 years,” known as the “X Force” to defeat Cable and save an innocent kid he’s trying to kill.

Wilson’s girlfriend, played by Morena Baccarin will also return to the movie.

“Deadpool 2” is due out in theaters May 18, 2018. The original “Deadpool” was nominated for two Golden Globes and made $783 million at the box office. So if the sequel is anything like the first, it will no doubt live up to the hype and be another enjoyable viewing experience.
