“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest is reportedly being blamed for the low ratings the network is having, according to RadarOnline.
“Producers for ‘Idol’ are flipping out after they were crushed in the ratings war by NBC rival show ‘The Voice,'” a network insider told the outlet. “Now they are trying to make Ryan Seacrest the scapegoat while they scramble to figure out exactly what they are doing wrong.”

Sources said network executives were freaking out about the struggling numbers and have put the blame on sexual misconduct allegations against Seacrest.
Seacrest has denied the “salacious” accusations from his former stylist at E! News, Suzie Hardy. The stylist alleged she suffered “years of unwanted sexual aggression” from the ABC talk show host.
E! News has also issued a statement that their investigation found “insufficient” evidence to support the claims against him.
The ABC talks show host is reportedly not happy that the focus for the show’s failure to beat its competition is being placed at his feet.
“Ryan is flipping out right now and he thinks that it is ridiculous that they are trying to say that it’s his fault the ratings are tanking,” the source shared.
ABC insiders have denied the RadarOnline report, according to Fox News.
Seacrest isn’t the only member of the “Idol” reboot drawing negative attention. “American Idol” judge Katy Perry made headlines earlier this month for giving a contestant an unwanted kiss. The male performer later shared that he was not happy with what she had done because he wanted his first kiss to “be special.”
