Odds have been released for who will be the first quarterback off of the board in the 2018 NFL draft.
SBR Sports Picks posted the following odds late Thursday:
- Sam Darnold +100
- Josh Allen +280
- Baker Mayfield +350
- Josh Rosen +350

I think the obvious bet here is Sam Darnold. Everything we’ve heard out of NFL camps, his pro day and around the league is that the Browns have every intention of drafting Sam Darnold first overall.
It’s not surprising that Darnold will be the first pick. Rosen might be just as talented or have the same high ceiling, but he’s got enough attitude red flags to give any general manager caution. The exact same could be said for Mayfield, except most scouts probably have Darnold’s ceiling pegged higher than Mayfield.
I don’t know if I’ll even bet on the this prop for first QB taken, but if I did there’s no doubt it’d be Darnold. I just don’t see any other quarterback coming off of the board before he does.
