“Game of Thrones” actor Joe Dempsie doesn’t trust himself enough to be drunk now that he knows how the show will end.

The final season of HBO’s hit show will get here sometime in 2019, so it’s very understandable why people would be focused on spoilers.

Dempsie, who plays Gendry, sounds like he should probably stay away from the booze until the episodes are released.

He told Metro the following:

I remember getting to the end of that final episode and knowing that that was it, there wasn’t gonna be any more Game Of Thrones, and the idea that I have to now carry that around in my head between now and 2019 when it comes out…I’m gonna be drunk at various points! I don’t know if I trust myself.

I’m not going to lie here, I love this comment. The ending is so wild that Dempsie is worried about getting drunk and spoiling it for everybody.

What the hell is going on that the actors need to be sober in order to protect the show? This makes me very amped. There better be a stream of blood in the final season. I want everybody to die. Everybody needs to hit the afterlife, minus Tyrion, Daenerys and Jon Snow.

I couldn’t care less about anybody else. Save those three and kill everybody else. That’s all I’m asking for. It’s not terribly difficult.
