LiAngelo Ball officially entered his name into the 2018 NBA draft Tuesday.

Yahoo Sports reported the following:

Ball, 19, has formally submitted early-entry paperwork to enter the June draft. Ball has played professionally with Lithuanian team Vytautas Prienu since parting with UCLA in December after a shoplifting scandal in China.

LiAngelo Ball is expected to work out for several NBA teams when he returns from playing for Vytautas and will participate in the Pro Basketball Combine at IMG Academy (Florida) in May in front of team executives.

Yeah, this dude isn’t getting picked just yet. No chance at all. Now, he has been surprisingly better than people thought he would be when he first made the hop over to pro ball in Lithuania.

However, the middle Ball brother is still not even close in my mind to being considered a raw prospect at this point in time. He needs to prove that he can do just more than have a solid single season in Lithuania, which is a situation pretty much being completely controlled by his dad.

I’d be more interested to see what he does with a full season in the G-League. He puts up numbers in the G-League for an entire year, and I’d start to believe that there might be major NBA paychecks in his future.

I’m just not buying it yet, and neither should you.
