March Madness Was A Complete Gambling Disaster

I didn’t make a single penny gambling on March Madness this year, and that is an unprecedented level of failure.

March Madness is usually my time to shine. It’s when I do my best work, and make more money than I know what to do with. I can pretty much bank on huge paydays once the tournament is wrapped up.

That didn’t happen at all this year. Not even close. I bet big and I bet confidently that this was Virginia’s year. I look pretty dumb on that prediction, considering the fact they ended up being the first one-seed to lose in the first round in tournament history.

It didn’t end there. My failsafe bets all went down the drain too. This will be the first year in my life that I don’t end up making a single penny from the tournament. I thought I might be able to salvage this sinking ship in the Final Four. I was very wrong. It’s dark days like these that we must remember that the sun always comes up the next day.

Maybe God just saw a little too much winning going on, and decided that he couldn’t let it continue. I truly don’t understand how it all went so wrong. The only upside is that we’re now ready and primed for a major comeback next season. Can’t ever stay down for very long!
