Last night, Carrie Underwood was minding her own business, attending a Nashville Predators game, as she so often does. In fact, Underwood might be one of the team’s biggest fans, since her husband Mike Fisher plays center for the Preds.

But last night was the last straw for Carrie. With .6 seconds left in their game against the Florida Panthers, Nashville forward Filip Forsberg scored a goal to tie the game 2-2.

But the goal was shortly overturned, with refs citing goaltender interference. After an intense review, the NHL’s situation room said, “The deliberate actions of [Viktor] Arvidsson’s stick caused Luongo to spin and cause the covered puck to come loose prior to the goal.”

“We obviously feel it was [Panthers defenseman Keith] Yandle who caused the goalie to be disrupted,” Predators head coach Peter Laviolette later said. “He got on the backside of Arvidsson and moved him, so we 100 percent disagree with the call.”

Here’s an aerial shot of the play in question:

Predators fans were predictably outraged. And one of those fans in the stands happened to be none other than Carrie Underwood, who started an angry Twitter war with the NHL.

“Preds were straight up robbed,” Underwood said.

“I am seriously livid,” she tweeted at the NHL, demanding the league “fix” their mistake.

Her husband later got involved, saying “If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s you’re always right.”

The loss hit the Predators and their fans particularly hard because they’re currently seeded at number one in the NHL’s Western Conference. They’re also seeded at the number one spot in their Central Division. And the loss could have jeopardized their standing. So far, they’re still sitting at number one but if the NHL should have learned anything from this, it’s not to cross Carrie Underwood.
