The final “Game of Thrones” season sounds like it will feature one of the coolest battles in the history of television.

IGN reported the following:

The final season of Game of Thrones will feature a battle the likes of which TV has never seen before. Sure, there’s been the Battle of the Bastards and the Loot Train Ambush, but all of those sequences will pale in comparison to what awaits fans when Season 8 premieres in 2019.

According to Watchers on the Wall, the cast and crew just wrapped a 55 consecutive night shoot of a massive battle. That length of time more than doubles the amount of time it took to film their previous large-scale action scenes.

I sure do love the sound of this. One of the best things about “Game of Thrones” is the fact the battles are incredible. It’s hands down one of the pillars that holds the show up.

I can’t wait. Can’t wait a single second longer to find out how this epic saga will come to an end. Will Jon Snow take the throne? Will Daenerys survive? Will Cersei meet a violent end? Can Tyrion rise to the top? These are the questions that I desperately need answered.

We were left with the white walkers breaching the wall and blasting south. Not a bad way to leave the audience hanging. Now we just need to find out what happens next. I need a conclusion like I need air in my lungs.

It’s time to roll the cameras, get this content on our television and see this wild battle. I will be furious if this is disappointing. Anything that takes nearly two months to film better be damn good.
