“Roseanne” lead the night once again in prime time on Tuesday in the coveted demographic rating and held steady in overall viewership.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the ABC reboot of the popular 90s series, about a blue-collar family lead by Roseanne Barr’s character who is a supporter of President Donald Trump, earned an average of a 2.6 rating among adults ages 18-49 in overnight Nielsen ratings.
The series has been setting historic ratings records since the one-hour debut on March 27.
Last night, was no exception as the series beat out the rest of the networks in the age demographic and did not drop off from the prior week in overall viewership, with 10.2 million viewers. Those numbers set another record for the series sixth original episode win in the demographic, according to Deadline.
In comparison, the one hour debut on March 27 brought close to 30 million viewers and an 8.1 rating among adults ages 18-49 after figuring in Nielsen’s live-plus-three day and live-plus-seven-day ratings.
There are only two shows left until the finale for the 10th season of “Roseanne.” But with such an impressive showing, the network already signed Barr and the rest of the crew to come back and do it again for an 11th season.
