‘Silicon Valley’ Was Surprisingly Good In Season Five Without T.J. Miller

HBO’s hit show “Silicon Valley” wrapped up its fifth season Sunday night, and the show was outstanding.

I won’t lie to you. Even as a fan of the show, I was worried what it would look like without T.J. Miller playing Erlich Bachman. The show was amazing with him as the hatable loser who was running the tech hostel.

One thing led to another, and next thing we knew, he was out the door. Everybody began to wonder what kind of fifth season we’d be getting.

Well, I couldn’t be happier that Richard, Dinesh, Gilfoyle, Jared, Bighead, Monica and Gavin were all entertaining as hell as Pipernet was taken to the next level.

I don’t know how much longer “Silicon Valley” will be on television. It seems like it could go on forever, but at the same time, we were left with a big victory at the end of Season Five. Maybe it’s best to leave the party when things are going well rather than overstay your welcome.

Either way, I couldn’t be more pleased as a fan with how great the show was, despite Miller’s absence.
