Washington Capitals Win The Stanley Cup [VIDEO]

The Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup Thursday night after defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in game five 4-3.

There are so many thoughts rushing through my head right now. The Capitals played one hell of a great game from start to finish. Yes, they gave up some goals along the way, but it was still incredibly impressive. (SLIDESHOWHOCKEY RINKS MIGHT BE COLD, BUT THESE WOMEN ARE SCORCHING HOT)

Especially, Alex Ovechkin’s wild goal.

It flat out doesn’t get much sexier than that shot on the ice. I’m glad that I’m in Washington D.C. to be a part of this journey and watch it all happen.

This city has been desperate for a championship, and now they have one.

There are a lot more things I’m going to get into tomorrow once I’ve had a moment to let all this sink in. For now, this season was awesome for everybody. Congratulations to all the people involved. This team and this city earned it.
