The New ‘Military Diet’ Celebrities Are On Sounds Absolutely Wild

A trendy new diet known as the military diet is sweeping Hollywood and it sounds pretty terrible.

The diet features a mix of grains, lean proteins, and fruits and vegetables. But the tricky part is that it requires a person to follow the 3:4 ratio, meaning you only follow it strictly for three days and resume your normal diet for the remaining four. It typically contains between 1,100-1,500 calories and is “devised by U.S. military dietitians to help soldiers get in shape.”

It claims to help a person lose up to 10 pounds in three days.

Tons of celebrities have tried it to shed pounds quickly, most notably Khloe Kardashian, who is currently working to lose the baby weight she gained after having her daughter, True Thompson, in April.

Kardashian has come under public skepticism in recent weeks for shedding her baby weight fast. But she hopped on Twitter to defend herself, claiming she was making healthy choices but trying not to set the “wrong tone.”

I’m not sure that this diet’s claim to help a person lose 10 lbs in three days sounds believable, but Khloe Kardashian certainly looks great. And while eating bascially nothing but toast and eggs sounds pretty terrible, if a celebrity can do it, most people probably can, too.
