Penn State Football Does The Most American Thing Possible For The Fourth Of July [PHOTO]

Penn State’s football program pulled out all the stops for the Fourth of July.

PSU had the field at Beaver Stadium mowed into the shape of our great and beautiful flag to honor Independence Day.

It really doesn’t get much better than that when it comes to a football team celebrating the Fourth of July. I have no idea how many man-hours must have been put in to pull that off, but I’m sure it was a ton. (RELATED: HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! HERE ARE THE FIVE GREATEST THINGS ABOUT AMERICA [VIDEO])

Good for Penn State. There are plenty of ways to pay your respects. Most teams just fire off a tweet or two. Some organizations might have a short video. Penn State turned their whole field into the flag!

Happy Fourth of July Nittany Nation!

It’s a classy move from PSU and head coach James Franklin. I might be a Wisconsin guy, I might hate Penn State and I hope that we obliterate them every time they get on a field with us.

At the same time, I can admit this is pretty damn cool. Props to PSU.
