Current New York Giant and former University of Maryland defensive tackle A.J. Francis railed against the TSA on Twitter for their handling of his mothers ashes.

The football player posted a picture on Twitter appearing to display ashes spilled all over his clothing in his luggage.

He claims the TSA did not reseal the container after searching it, allowing the remains to spill out.

TSA responded on Twitter, saying they were very sorry.

Francis did not accept the apology.

They also seemed to claim that company policy explicitly forbids the opening of containers with remains in them, and yet offered no explanation as to why it happened anyway.

Francis notes he wasn’t even upset the ashes were opened, but that he was disappointed in the careless manner in which they were handled.
