It started when an ABM employee Frank Ragin “made a gesture” at Jones after the football star landed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

When Jones confronted Ragin about the gesture, a verbal altercation began, eventually leading to Ragin strike Jones “with a closed fist” according to police, “causing a laceration to Mr. Jones’ face.”

The airport worker also reportedly struck a woman with Jones, whose hand was injured as a result.

Then, Jones did what any decent man would do and knocked the guy to the ground.

“Mr. Jones then started to defend himself, causing Mr. Ragin to fall to the ground.”

While Jones and the woman he was with declined medical attention, Ragin was taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

Ragin was arrested for two counts of battery, while Jones was not determined to be the primary aggressor.

I love this. The guy almost definitely knew it was Pacman Jones — a football player with a decent rap sheet of his own — and started mouthing off. Anyone who’s watched the former Bengal play a single snap knows he doesn’t take any sh*t from anyone.

I can’t honestly say I’m surprised that the airport worker ended up in the hospital and the NFL player didn’t. Hope this guy learned his lesson, never pick a fight with an NFL defensive back and hit his girl, too, because you’ll probably end up with at least a couple bumps and bruises.

Sidenote: Pacman was a LEGENDARY return man back in the day
