Arresting Stormy Daniels At A Strip Club Is A Shameful Moment For America

David Hookstead | Reporter

Stormy Daniels was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly let strip club customers in Ohio touch her. This is a shameful moment for America.

I’m not going to get into all the stuff between the porn star and President Donald Trump. The alleged affair serves no purpose for the argument I’m making here. We can discuss that some other day.

As for today, we can’t stand for strippers getting arrested or laws that don’t allow customers complete freedom. Last time I checked, my feet were standing in America, and in this country, we celebrate freedom. Did something change last night that I wasn’t aware of?

Apparently, Ohio has a law barring people from touching strippers. Are you kidding me? Where is the freedom in that? Did we really overthrow the British empire so that archaic laws could be written about what people choose to do in strip clubs? I didn’t think so. Mel Gibson didn’t charge the British lines so that freedom could be restricted centuries later. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

Look, I’m not endorsing strip clubs here. Don’t get confused with my argument. That’s not what I’m doing at all. I’m simply defending freedom, as I have many times before.

We either have the freedom to get lap dances in this country and touch strippers, or we don’t. You know where else you can’t get a lap dance? ISIS-held territories in the Middle East. I don’t think Ohio or any other state really wants to share similar laws and policies as the terrorist. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

In a free society, you must sometimes accept the fact there are certain freedoms you won’t like or agree with. That’s just part of the agreement we all make with each other. Nobody is forcing you to go to a strip club, buy a machine gun or do anything else you choose to do in a celebration of our freedom.

I woke up this morning thinking I lived in a free country, but arresting strippers has me thinking differently. I guess we have a long way to go until we reach the peak of the Freedom Mountain. What a sad and embarrassing moment in this nation’s history.

I have no choice, but do what I have always done. I will fight for freedom at all moments. This is my burden to carry, but I will do it out of love for my nation.
