Judge Awards Man Millions Of Dollars After His Wife Cheats On Him. The Details Are Absurd
North Carolina man Keith King is about to be a high-roller because he successfully sued the man who seduced his wife for millions of dollars.
The Herald Sun reported:
A Durham County judge awarded the owner of a BMX bike stunt show company more than $8.8 million from the man he said seduced his wife and ruined his marriage.
Superior Court Judge Orlando Hudson awarded Keith King more than $2.2 million in compensatory damages and three times that in punitive damages from Francisco Huizar III of San Antonio, Texas.
North Carolina is one of a handful of states that let jilted spouses sue people for criminal conversation when the person has sex with a married person before separation, and for alienation of affection when “genuine love and affection” has been destroyed by the person.
Man, do I sure love America. Do I support cheating? Obviously not. It’s horrible. Do I support lawsuits over cheating? I don’t know, but this is funny as all hell.
Let’s just imagine for a second that you convince somebody who’s married to have sex with you, the act gets completed, you go along your way and then a judge later says you owe nearly $9 million for the act? Go ahead and let the gravity of that situation weigh on you. I sure hope it was worth it because that is a boatload of money for seducing anybody. Prior to seeing this story on Barstool Sports, I had no idea you could ever sue somebody for having sex with your spouse. Honestly, how is that allowed and why aren’t more people using the courts to their advantage? There is a content goldmine here just waiting to be explored. Think about all the court television shows we could be getting of jilted lovers suing their spouses. Imagine the details!
I’m sure most men and women wouldn’t want to admit to ever being cheated on, but major props to Keith King for successfully suing the guy who ruined his marriage for millions. He is truly a national hero.
