NFL Scout Makes The Dumbest Comment Imaginable About Matthew Stafford

David Hookstead | Reporter

One anonymous NFL scout needs to hang up his clipboard for the rest of his life after making a recent comment about Matthew Stafford.

According to Mike Freeman, an NFL scout told him about the Lions, “What’s holding them back is average quarterback play. Matthew Stafford needs to really up his game if they’re going to win.”

Honestly, this happened a few days ago, and I’m shocked that I missed it at the time. I’ll put my hand up and own that mistake. I probably missed it because the corrupt and biased media is trying to pretend like the Lions don’t exist. (RELATED: MATTHEW STAFFORD’S 2017 HIGHLIGHTS ARE PRETTY MUCH STRAIGHT UP FOOTBALL PORN)

This is one of the most laughable comments made in the history of dumb comments. Stafford is holding the Lions back? Matthew Stafford? The same Stafford that was born in Texas and played at Georgia? The same Stafford that is the best two-minute quarterback in the game? Are we talking about the same guy?

The Lions would be absolute trash if it weren’t for the talents of Matthew Stafford. He’s without question the most talented guy on the field for Detroit every single time they take the field.

I’m not kidding when I say that Detroit might not win three or four games a year if Stafford wasn’t playing, and that’s me being generous. Frankly, they might not be much different from the Cleveland Browns.

I don’t know who this scout is, but he’s a moron. I’m honestly starting to wonder if he’s ever watched a second of Stafford’s game tape in his life.
