Star Rapper May Go To Jail For Years And Register As Sex Offender

Popular rapper Tekashi69 is facing jail time for allegedly posting a video of an underaged girl involved in a sexually compromising act.

The “Gummo” rapper appeared in a New York City court on Thursday to answer for a 2015 child sex case. Tekashi69, real name Daniel Hernandez, pled guilty to a single count of “the use of a child in a sexual performance,” after he posted a video of a 13 year old girl in 2015. The judge deferred his case for two years in a plea deal, but this all hinged on him staying out of trouble. Now that he’s famous, Tekashi has had multiple run ins with the law. He’s been arrested for driving with a suspended license, assaulted a police officer, and assault. So the judge has ordered him back into court. (RELATED: Star Rapper Arrested. The Reason Why Is Extremely Disturbing)

TMZ paparazzi found Tekashi heading into court on Thursday and the rapper seemed less than pumped to be there.

Luckily for Tekashi, the judge decided to push his hearing back another two months. He’ll have to report back to court in October but it seems like he’s gotten off easy — for now. TMZ reports prosecutors are trying to lock Hernandez up for 1-3 years and have him register as a sex offender.
