NFL Superstar Likely Won’t Be Charged For Brutal Attack On His Former Girlfriend
Buffalo Bills star running back LeSean McCoy isn’t expected to be charged for an attack on his ex-girlfriend over the summer.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that there “simply isn’t enough evidence” to charge McCoy for anything tied to the brutal attack of Delicia Cordon in Georgia. The Bills star has denied he had anything to do with it from the very start. (RELATED: LeSean McCoy Accused Of Beating Girlfriend)
If this holds — and PD don’t charge LeSean McCoy — he’s not likely to be suspended by the NFL, I’m told. There simply isn’t enough evidence. https://t.co/nnbCpqe7qJ

Cordon was staying in McCoy’s Alpharetta, Georgia when men allegedly entered and repeatedly struck her. You can listen to the police audio below.
I’m actually a little surprised that Rapoport claimed the NFL won’t suspended McCoy if he’s not legally charged. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended players before who weren’t ever convicted of anything. Look no further than Ezekiel Elliott for evidence of that.
