NFL Player Makes Possibly The Biggest Bonehead Purchase Ever. Here’s What He Bought

Minnesota Vikings star Stefon Diggs reportedly felt the need to spend money on a Starbucks-inspired gold chain.

According to TMZ, the necklace has 1,000 emeralds and VS diamonds, and cost an estimated $15,000. You can see a photo of it here.

Seriously, what an absolutely stupid thing to spend money on. Apparently, Diggs is an insane Starbucks fan and has worn cleats featuring the coffee empire before.

Still, this is beyond dumb. Why would anybody want to spend thousands of dollars on a Starbucks-inspired chain? First, we had Lamar Jackson buying a chain of his run against Syracuse and now Diggs is dropping cash on this stupid idea. Seriously, what is wrong with some athletes? You don’t have forever to make money in the NFL, and the cash doesn’t keep flowing once the lights go down on a career. Diggs is on a contract with $40 million guaranteed, but that’s still not enough money to buy pointless stuff. The only thing I’d ever buy from Starbucks is a coffee. I would never buy a chain because I understand that money just doesn’t fall from the sky.

I will never understand athletes who just piss away money on the stupidest stuff. Why not invest it? Why not buy some real estate as a nice investment? Why not play the markets? Those avenues are smart and pay returns. Buying a damn Starbucks is honestly one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen.
