Fox Sports Analyst Has Some Thoughts That Will Enrage Fans Of An SEC Powerhouse

Fox Sports pundit Joel Klatt rained all over Georgia with some recent comments.

“It’s very clear to me that Ohio State has been more dominant than even Georgia has in this season. See, I like to rank teams based on what I’ve seen, not based on what I think during the summer,” Klatt explained Wednesday night on the Big Ten Network.

He also tore into Georgia playing an FCS school, which is an element of the SEC that I have lamented for years.

I have said before that Klatt is one of the best analysts in the game, and it’s videos like the one above that prove I’m correct in my assertion.

Look, I try to be as fair as I can in these situations. These are the facts. Georgia, the second best team in the SEC, beat Austin Peay and South Carolina. The first win is garbage, and absolutely pointless. The win against South Carolina isn’t half bad. As you remember, I actually thought SC could win that game. I was wrong, but that doesn’t make the Bulldogs’ schedule anymore impressive. (RELATEDSEC FANS DON’T LIKE TO USE FACTS WHEN DISCUSSING COLLEGE FOOTBALL)

Now, let’s take a look at Ohio State. They rolled Oregon State and Rutgers, both of whom are Power Five schools. Absolutely destroyed them. The Buckeyes scored a combined 129 points in those two games. It’s a mind-boggling number to score in two games against Power Five teams.

Of course Ohio State is more impressive right now than Georgia! The only team in America that could potentially make a case to be better than OSU is Alabama. Everybody else doesn’t even have an ounce of an argument to back them up. Again, these are facts. You might not like them, but they’re facts.
