Nebraska’s Football Coach Might Be Delusional After These Comments
Somebody might want to make sure Nebraska Cornhuskers football coach Scott Frost is okay.
Judging from some recent comments, something just seems off. The former UCF coach addressed the media Thursday about whether Nebraska would re-schedule the canceled Akron game for December.
According to Saturday Tradition, he told the media, “I don’t want to schedule a game for December because I think we’re going to have a chance to be in the [B1G] Championship Game. We need to be in the championship. So that leaves us October.”

I understand where Frost is coming from, but I have a harsh reality check for him. Is Nebraska going to win the Big Ten West and make the title game? I think we all know the answer to that question.
Wisconsin owns the Big Ten West until somebody proves they’re better. Right now, absolutely nobody has come close to getting the job done. The Badgers own the division, and it’s not even close. That’s the case for this season, next season and hopefully for the next 100 years. That’s just the way it is. My Badgers run the show and everybody else just has to learn how to deal with it. This might actually surprise a lot of you, but I actually hope Frost does turn around Nebraska. Do I think it will make any difference for the Badgers or dethrone them? No, but a great Nebraska is simply better for the world of college football. I don’t want to beat bad Cornhuskers teams. I want to beat the beast they have to throw at me.
Nobody from Wisconsin wants an easy path. We’d rather play ranked teams every week. I hope Frost makes Nebraska great again just so that we can stomp out whatever hope they might have left.
