Video Of NFL Star Being Arrested At Funeral Home Has Been Released, And It’s Bizarre

David Hookstead | Reporter

The video of Richie Incognito being arrested at an Arizona funeral home back in August probably wasn’t what you’d expect it to be.

TMZ published the video Wednesday night of Incognito’s arrest, shortly after his dad died, and the former Buffalo Bills star is far more restrained than I expected him to be.

Police can be seen entering with Incognito already on the ground, they cuff him, talk to him a little bit, pray with him and then put him in a police van. It’s not nearly as out of control as you’d figure it’d be considering the fact he was allegedly threatening to kill people. (RELATED: FORMER NFL STAR RELEASES STATEMENT AFTER BIZARRE FUNERAL HOME ARREST)

Judging from the initial reports, I thought the police rolled up and the situation was absolutely out of control. Now, we obviously don’t know what happened before the police arrived, but Incognito was way more reserved than I imagined when I envisioned the situation. (RELATED: NFL STAR HELD BY POLICE FOR PSYCH EVALUATION. As I’ve said many times, I just hope he gets all the help he needs at this point. Something seems a bit off, and you just hate to see people struggle. Props to the police officers for being incredibly professional, and taking care of the situation in a calm manner. Hopefully, we stop seeing Incognito in the news for bad reasons.
