Bill Cosby is in for a rough reality check if he thought he was in for an easy prison time because he’s been shipped off to a maximum-security facility.

Cosby was sentenced Tuesday to 3-to-10 years in prison after assaulting Andrea Constand at his Philadelphia home in 2004. He has now been taken to the prison he will serve his sentence in, and it won’t be easy. (RELATED: COSBY SENTENCED TO 3 TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT)

TMZ reported the following details:

Cosby’s official inmate number is NN7687. He was moved Tuesday after his sentencing to the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution Phoenix in Schwenksville, PA.

It’s significant … prison is a maximum security facility, meaning it houses some of the most violent offenders in the state. The prison is fairly new and has 3,830 beds.

Cosby will be housed in a single cell next to the infirmary … possibly because of his medical problems. He’s allowed phone calls and visitation consistent with prison policies.

I don’t think you’re going to find too many people willing to shed tears for Cosby. The man clearly deserves to be in prison, and he deserves probably a hell of a lot more than just 3-to-10 years.

It’s also worth noting that while Cosby was convicted for his crime against Constad, he faced unproven allegations from many more women. I really can’t think of somebody falling harder and faster from the grace of America than Cosby did. Good riddance.
