Philadelphia Flyers center Jori Lehtera is in hot water with the Finnish police after his cottage was raided in association with an alleged cocaine ring during the summer, according to TMZ.

The 30-year-old NHL star has denied any involvement with the cocaine scandal for which seven people have already been imprisoned, Finnish news outlets reported. He was not present at the cottage when it was raided.

Police are allegedly concerned about 2 kilograms of coke, worth about $50,000, which may have been distributed in Finland early in 2017. There are at least 23 persons of interest in the case, and police have recovered $700,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables in association with the case, TMZ reported.

The player has still not had any charges formally filed against him.

Lehtera is starting the final season of his 3-year, $14.1 million contract. He was traded to the Flyers from the St. Louis Blues last year and compiled three goals and five assists in 62 games for Philadelphia last season.

My advice to Lehtera would be to take allergy medicine if he continues to get the sniffles.
