It didn’t take long at all for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston to get back on the field after being suspended for three games.

The young star quarterback was suspended for the first three games of the season after he allegedly groped an Uber driver back in March 2016. (RELATED: NFL QUARTERBACK SLAPPED WITH LAWSUIT FOR ALLEGEDLY GROPING WOMAN. HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW)

There had been a ton of speculation that Winston might not see the field again after backup Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for over 400 yards in each of the three games of the suspension. “Fitzmagic” was an incredible sight. The beard was majestic and he was just letting it fly.

But those of us dreaming of a full season of the Harvard product under center had our dreams crushed when Winston entered the game Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Sometimes you learn that life isn’t fair. I think the entire football world wanted Winston to stay on the bench, and yet, he didn’t even go a full game before relegating his backup back to his rightful place.

All good things must eventually come to an end, and “Fitzmagic” is officially dead. It was a hell of a ride.
